Summary

6 September 1944

Having completed their oversees training, the new A-26 planes went out on their first operational mission against the enemy this date. Thirteen aircraft were dispatched and thirteen aircraft attacked enemy strong-points at Brest. There was no enemy opposition. 1000 lb. bombs were dropped with fair to good results.
