LeRoy and Beatrice Shaw

Shaw, LeRoy and Beatrice Formerly of Richfield, passed away peacefully within days of each other after almost 67 years of marriage.

Born in Minneapolis LeRoy was a WWII Veteran and former POW who served his country with honor. He was employed at NWA for 43 years. He passed away on March 27, 2014 at the age of 91 years. He is preceded in death by brother Robert.

Beatrice of Stacy moved to the cities and worked at 3M in St. Paul. She passed away on March 30, 2014 at the age of 87. She is survived by her sister Joyce Lyksett.

Theirs was a true love story. After meeting Roy, they built their home and family in Richfield. Together they are survived by their children: Mark (Ann) Shaw, Linda (Paul) Spekman, Jeffrey (Linda) Shaw and Sandra Loverud. Grandchildren: Michael and Stephen Shaw, Lindsey and Courtney Spekman, Erin Loverud, Chloe and Tacy Shaw. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.

Christian Mass Saturday, April 26 at 11:00 am. Visitation with family one-hour prior. Luncheon will follow Mass. Church of the Assumption, Richfield MN. Private interment with honors at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements - The Neptune Society Minneapolis.
