Description:
Pfc Anthony R. Conlon was one of the original 416th Bomb Group members transferred from the USA to Wethersfield, England. He was assigned to 416th BG Headquarters as an "Airman Basic" Military Occupation Specialty (521). He died in the line of duty in a Jeep accident on 25-Jan-1945 while the group was at Station A-55 Melun/Villaroche, France and is buried in Plot B Row 7 Grave 14 at Epinal American Cemetery, Epinal, France.
