Notes: Pilot's Mission: Navigation and Pilot Proficiency. Nature of Accident: Landing accident. Cause of Accident: Pilot error - Error in judgement plus bad wather and field conditions. The landing A-20 aircraft slid off the end of the runway and struck 12th AF Douglas C-47-DL Aircraft 41-18367 which was stuck in the mud. |
