Notes:
Nature of Accident: Crash Landing.

Cause of Accident: Pilot lost control of ship. Parachute was dislodged from Rear Gunners Compartment: Hung on Tail Assembly causing severe loss of control and subsequent Emergency Landing.

Note: This accident was originally investigated in Report AAR 44-11-5-7, but was reviewed again on 5-Dec-1943 in Report AAR 44-12-5-46 which determined the accident resulted from the dislodged Parachute getting hung on the Tail Assembly. Both reports are included in the single PDF file.
